Sealed single prime proposals will be received by the County of Wake in the Procurement Department, Room 2900, Wake County Justice Center, 301 South McDowell Street, Raleigh, NC 27601, up to 3 pm. Thursday, Sept. 4th,  2014, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for providing labor, material and equipment entering into the construction of the new Northeast Regional Library, located in Raleigh, NC.  The following firms have been prequalified to submit bids as General Contractors for the project:
Bar Construction Company, Inc.
Bordeaux Construction Company, Inc.
DeVere Construction Company, Inc.
Engineered Construction Company, Inc.
HG Reynolds Company, Inc.
J.D. Beam, Inc.
J.M. Thompson Company, Inc.
Metcon, Inc.
Monteith Construction Corp.
New Atlantic Contracting, Inc.
Riggs-Harrod Builders, Inc.
T.A. Loving Company
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held Thursday, August 21st, 2014 at 3:00 PM in The Wake County Public Safety Center - Conference Room C170, 330 S. Salisbury St. Raleigh, NC 27601.
Complete contract documents will be open for inspection in the offices of the Architect; at the office of the AGC, Raleigh Branch, and F. W. Dodge, Raleigh Branch. Printed copies of the plans and specifications may be purchased from Document Imaging at (919) 460-9440. Contractors are responsible for distributing documents to all subs. 
Wake County provides minorities and women equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of its construction program consistent with NCGS §143-8.  Bidders shall comply with the requirements of the Wake County Minority Business Enterprise Program, as outlined in Section 00500 of the Front End Documents.
No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for bids.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
