NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed proposals will be received by County of Wake in the Procurement Services, Wake County Justice Center, 301 S. McDowell Street, Suite 2900, Raleigh, NC 27601, for providing labor, material and equipment entering into a Single Prime Mechanical Contract for Waverly F. Akins Office Building Boiler Replacement project located at 336 Fayetteville St., Raleigh, NC.
Sealed Single Prime Construction bids will be received up to 2:00 p.m. on September 9, 2014.
All bids will be publicly opened and read starting at 2:00 p.m.
The general scope is as follows: Remove 2 – 150 HP Fire-tube steam boilers, accessories, and pipework. Install 3 – 100 HP fire-tube hot water, owner provided. Provide and install 7 hot-water pumps, 3 heat exchanges, hot water pipework, pipe insulation, accessories, and DDC controls.
A Mandatory Pre-bid Conference will be held at the Site, 336 Fayetteville Street at 9:30 a.m. local prevailing time, on August 21, 2014. All Contractors are to be present.

No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for bids.
