They will appoint three individuals to serve staggered terms on the new charter school board.  In order to achieve the staggered terms, the New Hanover County Board of Education will set the initial terms for their three members as one, two, or three-year terms.  After this, all terms will be three years.

Community members interested in being considered should submit a letter of interest and resume to the New Hanover County Board of Education, 6410 Carolina Beach Road, Wilmington, N.C. 28412 or email them to Tabitha.Adams@nhcs.net.
