Announcing the launch of the first publication of the Leadership for a New Era Series - How to Develop and Support Leadership that Contributes to Racial Justice, produced by the Leadership Learning Community and other thought leaders.

About the Report:
The report, How to Develop and Support Leadership that Contributes to Racial Justice, offers practical methods and recommendations to help leadership programs better prepare their participants to address racial inequalities in communities across the U.S.  The publication, produced by the Leadership Learning Community in collaboration with other thought leaders in the racial equity and leadership development fields, is the first report to analyze the link between major philanthropy investments in the racial equity and leadership development fields. Key recommendations for leadership programs include: 1) Make programs more accessible to people of color by providing them with appropriate resources, training and tools; 2) Incorporate training and tools to help participants understand the impact of structural racism; and 3) Promote collective leadership - train participants to collaborate with others across different sectors and organizations in order to tackle the systems that maintain racial inequalities. For more information, please visit: http://bit.ly/LeadershipRaceInfo.
