Center for Hispanic Leadership (CHL) will be launching its Hispanic Training Center on August 6, 2012, the first and only interactive video-based online training center designed to accelerate the advancement of Hispanics in America – as corporate leaders, as small business owners, and as consumers who can help influence how organizations build their brands. According to CHL Founder, Glenn Llopis, “As Hispanics, we are quickly waking up to the need to hold on to our cultural values and use them for leverage as we reach for success. Hispanic Training Center will be the game changer that will unite, empower and expand our voices and develop authentic Hispanic leadership in America – at a time when the United States needs all Latinos to have an identity that matters and that contributes in new meaningful and purposeful ways to the economy.”

CHL’s goal is to launch Hispanic Training Center in three distinct phases. August 6th will feature course curriculum focused on Leadership and Career Advancement. Later in August, Entrepreneurial Skills will be unveiled, followed in September by additional curriculum that will include how to lead Hispanic employees and sell to Hispanic consumers. As CHL Director of Client Relations, Annette Prieto-Llopis, notes, “Our goal is to train and excite the growing community of Hispanic professionals and encourage them to continually engage with Hispanic Training Center coursework by providing them with lesson plans for certification complemented by new content added each month. As our research indicates, Hispanic professionals are eager to embrace culturally-relevant training that enables their most authentic skill sets and enhances their relevancy as they seek advancement and new opportunities in their work.”

Center for Hispanic Leadership – which consults with Fortune 500 organizations on how to unlock opportunities for business by giving Hispanic leaders and consumers a voice – believes it’s time for Hispanics to build a leadership identity that the rest of America can begin to understand and embrace. According to CHL, Latinos are the fastest growing workforce community and consumer group in America, yet organizations have been slow to align their brands or establish sufficient resources and infrastructure to support this growth. In particular, they are lacking culturally-tailored training and advancement tools that support the specific needs of the Hispanic community. Ms. Prieto-Llopis notes, “Hispanic Training Center will provide the best learning engagement experience that supports the technological demands of Latinos – in particular, video-based interaction where Hispanics index extremely high, especially as a training aid.”

Completing course categories at Hispanic Training Center will allow users to achieve Level-1 Certification from CHL. Certification means students have the knowledge and skills to leverage their heritage and cultural values for the advancement of their careers and their organizations.

Hispanic Training Center will support affordable pricing for each category of curriculum, starting at $29.00 per month. Corporate and university packages and sponsorships are also available. Mr. Llopis concludes, “We hope to provide Hispanic professionals the advancement tools they desire via a world-class, interactive learning experience that everyone can afford and be proud to support. It’s time for our community to make a commitment and encourage one another to aim higher – to develop our leadership voices that have yet to be discovered.”
