'In “The Funk & Wag from A to Z” \, originally curated by Ann Harithas for the Nave Museum in Victoria\, TX \, artist Mel Chin extracted images from all 25 volumes of the 1953 Funk & Wagnall’s Encyclopedia and re-edited them a collages\, unleashing the p otentiality of images trapped by historical context. Chin s inspiring piece is showcased alongside new configurations of more recen t works by the artist in this exhibition.
