A full schedule of events has been planned to c
elebrate the rich diversity of cultures found within UNCW and the Wilmingt
on community. Lectures\, films\, dance\, exhibits\, theater\, music\, perf
ormances\, and food provide opportunities for all ages to get involved thr
oughout the week. Events are free unless otherwise noted. The week conclud
es on Saturday\, February 16 with the Intercultural Festival. Music\, danc
e\, traditional clothing\, and cultural displays representing countries fr
om around the world will be on display from 11am - 3pm in the Burney Cente
r on the UNCW campus. This is a family friendly event!

Perhaps you relate to the Real

Do you spend more time thinking about their lives
than your own?
So where's the LOVE on these shows? In my opinio
n we find people fighting\, hating\, yelling and disagreeing often times b
ecause the LOVE is lost. And why is the LOVE lost? Because someone is tryi
ng to play another person's role to be more valued. But we should be caref
ul NOT to take our cues from Hollywood when we encounter problems with fri
ends\, siblings\, spouses\, co-workers or parents. Everyone should be valu
ed because everyone has a respective 'role' to play.
And though
this is NOT Hollywood...
...I dare you to jump into the role o
f 'Director' and yell\, CUT!!!
'I will respond differently!'
What makes relationships look more and more like Hollywood\, is a
ll that stuff (noise) going on behind the scene. But the only way to shut
the noise out is to learn how to respond to our relational issues in a pos
itive loving manner. It’s time to get serious about our relationships fo
lks.
My personal opinion is that the BIGGEST fuel to our drama
filled world is a word we love to use called HATE.
