Sponsored by the WFU Humanities Institute\, this interdiscip linary symposium provides participants and attendees the opportunity to sh are academic and experiential knowledge and to engage in dialogue about br east cancer\, especially in relation to breast cancer narratives and narra tive medicine. In addition to keynote addresses by Rita Charon (Columbia U niversity)\, Kathryn Montgomery (Northwestern University) and Amy Boesky ( Boston College)\, the symposium will feature faculty from Wake Forest’s College of Arts and Science\, the Medical Center\, and the Center for BioE thics\, Health and Society\, as well as faculty from several other institu tions\, on three panels: Breast Cancer Patients and Physicians\, Theorizin g Breast Cancer Narratives\, and Breast Cancer & Performance Narratives.
