4-H Volunteers: Going Beyond Expectations 2012 NC 4-H Volunteer Leaders' Conference February 3-5\, 2012 The 2012 NC 4-H Volunteer Leaders' Confe rence will be February 3-5\, 2011\, at the Shearton Imperial Hotel and Co nference Center in Research Triangle Park. This is your opportunity to pa rticipate in workshops and seminars designed especially for 4-H volunteer s and agents to create positive learning experiences for young people acr oss the state. Annually\, more than 350 conference participants gain skil ls and knowledge to help make the best better! Pre-conference sessions wi ll be offered on Friday\, February 3. These two-hour sessions provide opp ortunities for more intense topic investigation for focused learning. Reg ular conference registration opens Friday afternoon with the evening feat uring a carnival\, an entertainment showcase and a service project. Satur day features more than 40 workshop choices in 60-minute settings. Everyth ing from preparing healthy snacks to managing behavior\, from electric pr oject work to leadership - there's sure to be something for everyone! We wrap up the conference on Sunday morning with brunch and a great speaker. It's always a great training event!
