The Spiritual Renaissance Singers of Greensboro have been performing Negro spirituals since 1999. These songs combine spiritual and musical elements of African- and Euro- American cultures into a body of work that has sustained and inspired the spirit of the African people (wrested from their homelands) in their search for freedom.
