The Project Enlightenment Foundation's Project Palooza is our second annual community-wide family fun event celebrating Project Enlightenment's forty-three years of outstanding service to children, families and educators in Wake County. Project Palooza will feature crafts, family activities, face painting and live music, culminating in an entertaining children's parade led by a surprise local celebrity guest.
This year we are pleased to announce that we have renamed the event in honor of founding Project Enlightenment Foundation Board member Peggy Hibbert, who served as our chairperson from inception through 2011 and who is a true inspiration to all who know and love Project Enlightenment.
The Project Enlightenment Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports Project Enlightenment, an early childhood program that promotes school success for young children by educating children, teachers, and parents. Thousands of children and families are served through this nationally recognized program each year.
