“SOT: SETTING OUR TONE” “Setting Our Tone” (SOT) is the theme of Sisters of Today & Tomorrow’s (SOT) 5th annual leadership conference for girls, Wednesday and Thursday, July 11th-12th, 2013, at Big Bethel Village and Auburn Avenue Research Library, in Atlanta, Georgia. The cost of the conference is $195 and will include two-days of workshops, program materials, lunch/snacks and a lot of fun.
This empowerment conference will be an enlightening experience for young ladies, ages 12-18, where they will learn about leadership, character building, presentation & effective communication skills, career exploration and more, in a fun & innovative way.
We will have celebrity chats, literary workshops, empowerment sessions and a sister’s circle, as they learn how to develop their leadership ability and create a plan for their lives.
Pre-registration for the conference will take place June 30, 2013, 12 PM to 3 PM, at Auburn Avenue Research Library, 101 Auburn Avenue, on the 4th floor. Along with registration, SOT will be showing a film and talk back on black girls in urban America.
