 d patrons\, the Museum once again invites the community to enjoy an exclus
 ive opportunity to privately tour several stunning lofts located in downto
 wn Asheville. For several years\, friends of the Museum and downtown resid
 ents have generously opened their homes for this special tour\, the procee
 ds for which directly benefit the Asheville Art Museum’s mission and pro
 grams. This guided tour takes visitors into Asheville’s urban homes to s
 ee the amazing incorporation of art and city living. Space is limited and

 Tour will conclude at The Historic Cotton Mill Studios located in the Rive
 r Arts District\; home to several talented regional artists working in a v
 ariety of mediums\, the Studios are graciously hosting the second benefit 
 fundraiser\, Art for Art’s Sake\, in support of the Museum. The receptio
 n takes place at the Studios\, located on 122 Riverside Drive\, from 6:30 
 – 9:30 p.m. (free admission) on the evening of Thursday\, October 11\, 2
 012. Throughout the evening\, 40% of art sales will directly benefit the c
 ontinued growth of the Asheville Art Museum and its capital campaign: Art 
 WORKS for Asheville.\n \nIn addition\, as an ongoing benefit to Asheville 
 Art Museum Members\, all artists in the Cotton Mill Studios are offering a
  10% discount on sales at any time. Simply present your current Membership
  card when making purchases with any of the Cotton Mill Studio artists. Th
