DESCRIPTION:Pianist Kimberly Cann returns to our series with another exciti
 ng and varied program of Sonatas by Ludwig van Beethoven\, Sergei Rachmani
 noff\, and Florence Price. Kimberly Cann is a concert pianist\, educator\,
  and social advocate and currently serves as President of the Asheville Ar
 ea Piano Forum. Born in the West Indies\, Kimberly moved to the US with he
 r family at age 6\, and by the age of 18 she had performed with five orche
 stras and won her first national piano competition. In 2006 she received h
 er masters degree from the Eastman School of Music. She has been featured 
 on several national and international media programs and has had the pleas
 ure of working with many esteemed artists through the years. Pianoforte co
 ncerts fill up quickly\, so please reserve your seats early by contacting 
 the Museum’s front desk for reservations at 828.253.3227. Pricing is $6 
 Museum Members\; $8 + Museum Admission Non-Members and will be located in 
 the East Wing\, Upstairs Gallery of the Museum.
