This award-winning animated film with a unique, Celtic-Irish hand-painted look that is breathtakingly beautiful, tells the story of a young boy who meets a master illuminator carrying an incomplete boo Half Past Autumnk full of secret powers and wisdom. A.O. Scott, writing for The New York Times, called this film “Extraordinary!” and hailed it as a “critics pick” in 2009. Films are held in the Museum’s East Wing Theatre/Classroom and are Free with Membership or Museum Admission.
This film is held as a complement to the Art PLAYce for Children and the Museum’s Holiday Market.
