Marilyn Shannon is the founder of
Dialogue\, Inc.\, her private coaching practice and the co-founder of WPN
and the organizer for the Cary Chapter of Coffee and Contacts. Marilyn is
a licensed Heartmath® professional\, a group facilitator and has prese
nted workshops nationally on the topics of leadership\, listening and comm
unication skills. Marilyn had her own local talk show on NBC channel 17. M
arilyn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual and Performing Arts and
Public Communications from Syracuse University. She went on to become a sa
les and marketing professional\, in print\, TV\, and internet. Marilyn o
wned and operated a successful retail furniture business for 13 years and
served for many years as a superior court mediator where she honed her exp
ertise in conflict resolution.
