Call For Artists: African American Cultural Festival
Visual artists and marketplace vendors interested in applying for the African American Cultural Festival's 3rd annual juried International Art Market and Marketplace should compelte the application on line at www.aacfralwake.org/vendor-info.html by June 30, 2012. Applications submitted after that date will not be accepted.
FESTIVAL SITE
The two-day outdoor festival takes place on a paved surface which prohibits anchoring any supports into the ground or assuring a space without slope.
Please plan to have appropriate weights for your display, as the outdoor site can experience some wind.
No electricity or water can be provided to artists’ or vendor booths.
Absolutely no generators will be allowed.
Artists will be asked to keep all noise (including radios, background music, played instruments, etc.) at an absolute minimum in consideration of other artists and patrons.
Overnight security will be provided; however, we strongly encourage the removal of works and money from your booth, as this is a busy urban site, and we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen goods.
