The Carolina Beach Music and Shag Legacy:
Dancing to Music We Cannot Hear

Put on your Shag dancing shoes and learn about a unique aspect of North Carolina living and culture. Join John Hook, a 43-year-veteran radio broadcaster and Shag expert dancer, as he shares his love of Shag on Wednesday, March 27 at 7 p.m., Headquarters Library, 300 Maiden Lane. Hook has written several books about Shag and Beach culture, and will describe his most recent project.  His works will be on sale at the program.  This program is offered in conjunction with the March 29 downtown Fayetteville Shag festival, Spring Break: The Beach Comes to Fayetteville.
