Join us for the FREE EVENT, a part of the 17 DAYS FESTIVAL.  Relevents Wind Quintet was founded in 2008 by a group of professional musicians in Greensboro, NC who were looking for the exceptional collaborative experience that only chamber music can provide. The group has performed throughout North Carolina and South Carolina and made their international debut on a tour of southern Germany in March, 2009. Dedicated performers and teachers, the individual members maintain active teaching appointments with local universities throughout North Carolina and South Carolina as well as extensive performance schedules with symphonies throughout North Carolina and the southeast.

Relevents is committed to removing the traditional boundaries that exist between the performer and the audience. By performing in both traditional and non‐traditional venues, Relevents works to welcome new fans to the world of wind quintet repertoire. We strive to present exciting and diverse programs, performing standards as well as new works for the wind quintet developed through close collaboration with up and coming composers. Relevents Wind Quintet is committed to performing music that is relevant to each of us and to our time.
