 \, 2004-06  by British artist Anish Kapoor\, aka the “Chicago Bean” ha
 s made a big  splash by seemingly attempting to disappear.  Set in Chicag
 o’s  Millennium Park\, this installation has become an urban icon as wel
 l as a  key tourist attraction\, framed by skyscrapers and the lakefront a
 s a 21st symbol  of the city with broad shoulders. Scott Ogden\, AIA/LEED 
 AP is a local  architect and flâneur who will discuss this gem as well as
  art in the  public realm. ONE4$1 is an ongoing illustrated mini-lecture s
 eries  featuring community speakers from a broad spectrum of backgrounds w
 ho  have a strong interest in art.</p>
