A Night of Dinner, Comedy and Jazz will be held at Greater Love Church 2421 Timber Drive Raleigh, NC on Saturday evening October 29, 2011. The night's entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m. and will wrap up by 9:30 p.m. The event will feature a delicious Soul food dinner provided by Larry’s Southern Kitchen, a live comedy show featuring clean gospel comedian Les Long performing, You Might be a Raggedy Christian and live jazz performed by Michael “Saxy Mike” Spivey. The cost is $20 per person or a group of 8 for $250.00. The night's proceeds will benefit fathers forever non-profit. “I am honored to bring some of the best talent and one of the best soul food restaurants in the area to help support Fathers Forever mission .” said Glen Warren, Founder of Fathers Forever. “Profits from this show will be used to help fund programs for Fathers Forever.” Warren continued. This will be Fathers Forever biggest fundraiser of the year. Larry Southern Kitchen will be serving up the best delicious Soul Food. Authentic soul food will consist of baked chicken, juicy tender ham, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, corn and homemade desserts. Les Long a stand-up comedian will deliver his hilarious jokes and unique brand of clean comedy. You Might be a Raggedy Christian is about Christians who eat and breath Christianity but don't always live by it, yet they have a strong faith in God and trying to be Christ like. Michael Spivey a Jazzy Saxophonist for your listening pleasure.He has a smooth technique intended for your listening styles such as jazz, gospel, classical, etc. Mr. Spivey plays four different Saxophones, the trumpet, and trombone. He is gifted in presenting a wide variety of idealized soft,sweet, serene sounds with his instruments.
