A recent Washington Post article emphasized how poor credit makes it much tougher to secure loans and gain access to credit, especially for African-Americans. The article entitled, "For Black Americans, Financial Damage From Subprime Implosion is Likely to Last" (see link below), sheds light on what has been an ongoing problem for many decades: Minorities, particularly African Americans, continue to make up a huge population of people and business owners who are unqualified for credit.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- As Eid celebrations dawn and Ramadan draws to a close the world over, the majority of Muslims living and working overseas wish for peace and happiness, followed by health and family belonging, over desire for wealth and success, the second phase of a newly released Western Union-sponsored study has found. Specifically, nearly half of Muslims living and working overseas said that they valued peace and happiness (48%), followed by health (17%), family belonging (14%) and wealth and success (9%).

We founded our business, TS Designs, in 1977 as a small manual screen printing company and grew to land contracts with some of clothing’s biggest brands. In 1993, we lost much of our business as a result of the supposedly job-creating NAFTA trade agreement as large brands sought out the cheapest labor costs they could in Mexico.
