Unemployed
Talent Can be a Boon for Small Businesses Bottom Line
By
Dexter Julius, Freelance Art Director
While
the economy may be showing some slow signs of recovery, unemployment
remains at its highest in years. The market continues to be saturated
with professionals who are given pink slips daily because of lack
of work, not lack of talent. Hit particularly hard are the marketing
services sectors of advertising, design and public relations
industries that are among the first to feel the budget crunch when
corporate sales decline. With the onset of slashed marketing budgets
and agency downsizing, some of the of the countrys greatest
talent have found themselves out of work. [FULL_TEXT]

Ward

Racial
Privacy Act - Pure Racist American Logic
By
Glen Ford and Peter Gamble, The Black Commentator
Ward Connerly and his rich white benefactors want to erase black
people from the official American map. Hispanics are also targeted
to disappear from the public record before they even have a chance

Koopercamp and some of his friends decided it was time to reform
the system. I started challenging racial segregation,
remembers Koopercamp, who for the past three years has been pastor
of St. Marys Episcopal Church in Harlem. I knew that
the system was unfair and unjust.

Latinos; Hispanics Pass Blacks

(a black man) that since Latinos are now the largest minority
not African Americans he and the musician are minorities
together. [FULL_TEXT]

By
Vicki T. Lee, The Afro American Newspaper
BALTIMORE, MD (NNPA) Nurturing four babies, living on welfare
in the projects and cradling the pain of my childhood,
it took Barbara Robinson 18 years to get her bachelors degree and
20 years to write her first book, And Still I Cry. She
started Strategic, Tactics and Results Associates in the basement
