Home Buying

Project HOME is the CDC Affordable Housing Program. The program services families that gross 80% of the medial income or less for the area adjusted for family size. The CDC currently builds and sells homes in the $65,000 to $95,000 range. The feeder group for purchasing our homes is our Homebuyer's Club, which we sponsor.

Small Business

The Cape Fear Regional CDC Incubator Program was created to support entrepreneurs in starting, managing, and operating new business enterprises and provide jobs in distressed areas and disadvantaged communities.

Disaster Recovery

The CDC Housing Counseling Program helps families and individuals make
difficult choices in deciding whether to rehabilitate or replace their home after a disaster and whether to continue to rent or buy their first home. Counselors will be educators, advocates, and facilitators.
